KATHMANDU, Oct 13: President Ram Chandra Paudel is scheduled to visit the Federal Republic of Germany next month at the friendly invitation of his German counterpart.
At a program organized here on Thursday on the occasion of Germany Unity Day and 65th anniversary of Germany-Nepal relations, German Ambassador to Nepal, Thomas Prinz, said the people of Germany are eager to welcome President Paudel to their country.

Stating that Germany has been supporting Nepal including in the post-earthquake reconstruction and during the coronavirus pandemic, the German Ambassador expressed commitment to give continuity to such support in coming days.
Ministers, heads of diplomatic mission, high-ranking officials of the government, industrialists, journalists, German nationals currently in Nepal among others were also present. National Assembly Chairperson Ganesh Prasad Timilsina was the chief guest of the program.
