KATHMANDU, Jan 10: President of Nepal Bidya Devi Bhandari sent condolences to Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia on Friday.
According to a press released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, President Bhandari expressed condolences on the loss of human lives, floras and faunas, and large-scale displacement of people, extensive damages to properties and other infrastructure by bushfire.

In the message, President Bhandari expressed deep condolences and sympathies to the Government and the people of Australia and the families who lost their loved ones and properties.
She also wished for the success of the ongoing firefighting efforts of the Government and the people of Australia.
