KATHMANDU, Sept 24: Passengers will be able to book their tickets for Dashain festival from tomorrow after the government agreed to fulfill demands of Federation of Nepal Transportation Entrepreneurs to increase fare prices.
Saraj Sitaula, general secretary of the Federation said that they agreed to open pre-booking of tickets after a meeting with the government. The pre-booking was initially scheduled since last Thursday. However, they had retaliated after the government hiked fuel prices. Transport entrepreneurs, then, had decided to increase fare prices by 10 per cent.

"While we have repeatedly asked the government to unfreeze bank accounts of transport committees, there's not been an agreement so far," Sitaula said.
