Politicians, artists pay last tribute to centenarian Joshi

KATHMANDU, Oct 16: Various politicians and artists are paying their last tribute to culture expert and literary centenarian Satya Mohan Joshi at Lalitpur Metropolitan City.

KATHMANDU, Oct 16: Various politicians and artists are paying their last tribute to culture expert and literary centenarian Satya Mohan Joshi at Lalitpur Metropolitan City.



Prime Minister and President of Nepali Congress draped the national flag around the body of culture expert and literary centenarian Joshi. Similarly, chairman of CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota, former home minister Bamdev Gautam, veteran actor Madan Krishna Shrestha were among others to pay their last tribute to Joshi.

Centenarian Joshi passed away at the age of 103 while undergoing treatment at 7:09 AM on Sunday morning. He was undergoing treatment at Kist Medical College in Gwarko, Lalitpur. He was admitted to Kist Hospital on September 23 due to health problems.
