BANKE, Nov 17: Banke police shot at and arrested one person who attacked and seriously injured a local by using a sharp weapon.
Police arrested Akash Rana of Kohlapur-11 on Friday morning from Khajura-4.

Rana was absconding after attacking Min Bahadur BK, 29, of Kohalpur-12 using a sharp weapon.
Narayan Dangi, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) at the District Police Office, said that the police had to shoot at Rana to take him under control. Injured BK is receiving medical attention at Bheri Hospital as the police continue an investigation into the incident.
