Police arrest six Nepalis on charge of kidnapping Chinese national

KATHMANDU, August 4: A Chinese citizen has been Kidnapped in Kathmandu.



On Wednesday evening, six people involved in the kidnapping were arrested by a joint team of District Police Office, Kathmandu, and Metropolitan Police Circle, Durbar marg. All the six persons arrested are Nepali citizens.

Police Chief (SSP) Bharat Bahadur Bohora of Kathmandu, said that they were arrested on the charge of kidnapping the Chinese national and taking him to the new bus park.


SSP Bohora said that they are preparing to remand them into judicial custody and make them public at a press conference this evening.
