KATHMANDU, Feb 21: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal urged media to play positive role in making the local election a success.
Inaugurating journalist monument in the premises of Press Council on Tuesday, PM Dahal urged journalist to work to make positive environment for holding local level election.

"We have declared the date for local level elections in the mid of various difficulties and holding the election on the announced date is tougher," said PM. He said that the media played constructive role in making the mass movements successful in the past and he urged media to play similar role regarding the local election.
Dahal said that people could feel the positive changes brought by federal republic democracy in the country after the election of local level is completed.
