PM says government will receive LBRC report at convenient time

KATHMANDU, Dec 28: A delegation of the Local Body Restructuring Commission (LBRC) headed by its Chair Balananda Poudel today called on Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

KATHMANDU, Dec 28: A delegation of the Local Body Restructuring Commission (LBRC) headed by its Chair Balananda Poudel today called on Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.



During the meeting that took place at PM's official residence, Baluwatar, PM said the government will receive the LBRC report at some convenient time, according to Poudel.

The LBRC, the constitutional body, was formed during the period of erstwhile government led by KP Sharma Oli as per the Article 295 of Nepal's Constitution.


The government was geared up for holding the local poll, the PM said. On the occasion, the LBRC Committee team briefed the PM about contents included in the report.


Minister for Federal Affairs and Local Development Hitraj Pandey was also present in the meeting. RSS
