PM pledges to bring Karnali to mainstream of development

SURKHET, April 15: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has the announcement of nation's journey towards development and prosperity was made from the Karnali Province as the province is at the bottom in view of economic and human development index.

SURKHET, April 15: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has the announcement of nation's journey towards development and prosperity was made from the Karnali Province as the province is at the bottom in view of economic and human development index.

In his address to a program organized by the Mid-Western University, Surkhet at Birendranagar today, the Prime Minister said the federal and province governments were busy in making plans to take the Karnali together in the journey to prosperity. "The Karnali province will not be allowed to remain backward." He said the government was committed to bringing the province to the mainstream of development, underlining the need of connecting it with the northern border as it has no access to the southern border.
