PM Deuba directs police organizations to be technology-friendly

KATHMANDU, Oct 17: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has directed all police organizations to be technology-friendly, addressing a program held at the Nepal Police Headquarters on the occasion of the 67th Police Day on Monday.

KATHMANDU, Oct 17: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has directed all police organizations to be technology-friendly, addressing a program held at the Nepal Police Headquarters on the occasion of the 67th Police Day on Monday.

He said that the expected results can be achieved only if the information technology can be changed timely. He also said that the government is committed to making the Nepal Police more modern, professional, and equipped with resources and tools in the future.


He also mentioned that there is a need to improve the career development of all employees of Nepal Police. PM Deuba said that the main responsibility of Nepal Police will be to conduct the upcoming elections peacefully, and directed Nepal Police to make the elections free and fair by using their rights as per the law.
