PM Dahal to visit US on September 16 to Address UNGA, then fly to China on September 21

KATHMANDU, August 15: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal will leave for New York, USA on September 16 to address the United Nations General Assembly.

KATHMANDU, August 15: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal will leave for New York, USA on September 16 to address the United Nations General Assembly.



During a meeting with a group of journalists at his official residence in Baluwatar on Tuesday, Prime Minister Dahal mentioned that preparations are underway for him to visit China directly from the US on September 21. Prime Minister Dahal stated that a few important cooperation agreements are scheduled to be signed between Nepal and China during his visit to Beijing.

In response to a query about China's BRI project, Dahal informed that the implementation of the BRI agreement with Nepal will be discussed. Prime Minister Dahal also mentioned that Nepal will submit a proposal regarding grant assistance to Nepal under the BRI projects with China. Furthermore, he stated that he will have a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping during his visit to China.
