PM Dahal and UML Chairman Oli discuss cabinet expansion

KATHMANDU, Jan 14: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli have held a meeting this morning to discuss the issues of cabinet expansion, election to the Speaker and other issues, according to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.

KATHMANDU, Jan 14: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli have held a meeting this morning to discuss the issues of cabinet expansion, election to the Speaker and other issues, according to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.



The meeting was held at the Prime Minister’s Official Residence in Baluwatar. The election to the Speaker of House of Representatives (HoR) is taking place on January 19. As per the Article 91 (1) of the Constitution of Nepal, the HoR members should elect the Speaker within 15 days of the first meeting of the newly-elected HoR.
