ROLPA, May 23: A 25-year-old physically challenged woman at Triveni Rural Municipality-5 in Rolpa district was raped. The alleged victim is also the former Maoist combatant who sustained injuries during insurgency.

Police said that Hari Prasad Kami, 51, of the same rural municipality was held for allegedly raping the woman with oral and physical disabilities.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Rolpa Gyanendra Phuyal said that the victim is sent to home after her health checkups in the District Hospital while Kami is kept in police custody for further investigations. RSS
