KATHMANDU, May 15: The government presented its annual policies and programs in the federal parliament on Friday. 



As per the constitutional provision, President Bidya Devi Bhandari presented the government's annual policies and programs for the upcoming fiscal year 2020/21 in a joint meeting of the National Assembly and the House of Representatives at the federal parliament building in New Baneshwar, Kathmandu.

Amid rising fears of COVID-19, seat arrangements for the lawmakers have been made by maintaining a particular distance between any two lawmakers.


Earlier today, the president reached the federal parliament from her official residence at Shital Niwas accompanied by a motorcade.
