KATHMANDU, Feb 11: Student wing close to the rival faction of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal took to the streets in Kathmandu protesting the arrest of youth leader Ram Kumari Jhakri on Thursday.
Ramkumari Jhakri- a woman leader of the rival faction of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) was arrested on charge of making statements against the incumbent President Bidhya Devi Bhandari. She was arrested from her home Thursday afternoon.

Jhakri, however, was released after a few hours of her arrest.
