KATHMANDU, Jan 30: The civil society staged protests and demonstrations against the dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR) in Kathmandu on Saturday.
Civil society activists staged a demonstration at Maitighar and later marched toward New Baneshwar.

Following the dissolution of the lower house by the government, the country has been witnessing a series of protests and demonstrations.
The police and members of civil society had clashed a few days ago and the police had also arrested some of the prominent figures in society from such a protest at Baluwatar.
