KATHMANDU, Nov 30: The Nepal Communist Party (NCP) leader Bhim Rawal has urged the leadership not to misuse the party and the government to merely fulfill the vested interest of a particular group.
In a symbolic protest against the Asia Pacific Summit that started in Katmandu since Friday, leader Rawal, in his twitter, warned the government to keep in mind the diplomatic norms, national interest and its consequences while hosting such conferences.

Rawal has lashed out at the KP Sharma Oli-led government saying that it has given high priority to the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) Nepal chapter, a South Korean Institute, which is accused of promoting Christianity.
Eknath Dhakal is the chairman of UPF Nepal chapter. He is associated with the NCP. Nepal had become a co-organizer of the Summit at the initiation of Dhakal.
The government backed off from its decision to become the co-organizer following criticisms from all quarters including Nepali Congress.
