KATHMANDU, June 28: The Palpa-Butwal road section of Siddhartha Highway that was blocked due to landslides has now been opened for public. A landslide from Dobhan of Palpa to Siddhababa area due to incessant rain had blocked the road.

According to the District Police Office, Palpa, the road was opened earlier today after the landslide debris was removed in the area. Passengers had to suffer when a landslide blocked the road for a few hours in the morning. With the opening of the road, vehicles operating via this highway are heading towards their respective destinations.
