Pakistani PM congratulates Deuba on winning vote of confidence

KATHMANDU, July 19: The Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has congratulated his Nepali counterpart Sher Bahadur Deuba on winning a vote of confidence in parliament.

KATHMANDU, July 19: The Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has congratulated his Nepali counterpart Sher Bahadur Deuba on winning a vote of confidence in parliament.



Taking to his twitter account, PM Khan congratulated newly-appointed PM of Nepal Deuba, on winning the vote of confidence from the House of Representatives. “Pakistan looks forward to further deepening its cordial ties with Nepal & would continue to work closely with Nepal on issues of common interest.”

Newly-appointed PM Deuba took a vote of confidence on Sunday. He received 165 votes in the 271-member lower house of the federal parliament.


PM Deuba was also congratulated by his Indian counterpart, PM Narendra Modi.
