Oscar students awarded Singapore scholarship

KATHMANDU, Jan 7: The Infinity Studio of Singapore has decided to provide scholarship to five students of Oscar International Film College. Representative of the Studio, Shyu Mo, announced the names of the scholarship recipients amid a program organized at the college premises on Wednesday.

KATHMANDU, Jan 7: The Infinity Studio of Singapore has decided to provide scholarship to five students of Oscar International Film College. Representative of the Studio, Shyu Mo, announced the names of the scholarship recipients amid a program organized at the college premises on Wednesday.

This year, students Nipil Sharma, Diwas Amgaai, Babin Dulal, Aasish Limbu, and Sandeep Shrestha were awarded Rs 35,000 under the scholarship. Last year, Oscar College and Infinity Studio had agreed to provide scholarship for the students. Amesh Bhandari, Rijan Gajurel, Maritin Bhandari, Ankit Paudel and Ishan Bhusal had received the scholarship last year. 


Speaking at the program, Shyu Mo expressed hope that the scholarship will work as a fuel for the students to study hard in the future. She said, “We know that the scholarship amount is a bit less, but our aim is to boost the students’ confidence.”
