KATHMANDU, Aug 9: The online service of the Department of Foreign Employment (DoFE) has been disrupted. Information officer and director of the DoFE Kabiraj Upreti said that the service has been disrupted since Tuesday due to the migration process of the file server of the DoFE's Foreign Employment Information Management System (FEIMS).

According to him, the interrupted online service will be restored by Friday. In that system, the service has been interrupted so the system’s 'final upload' feature is inaccessible. The department has informed that it is not possible to apply for a labor permit online now. He said that documents that have already been uploaded can be viewed and changed.
