BAGLUNG, April 27: Police arrested one young man by the name of Shyam Regmi who was running away after opening fire at one hotel on Wednesday. Police held him along with one pistol and 11 bullets.
Regmi, 33, opened fire inside New Butwal Thakali Bhansaghar located in Burtibang Buspark of Dhorpatan Municipality. The bullets fired by Regmi perforated the walls of the hotel. However, no human damage has been reported.
Three held with firearms in capital
Regmi was apprehended at Khaptari located along Burtibang-Bhimgithe stretch of mid-hill highway, around 1.5 km away from the incident site, according to Krishna Rana, Inspector at Area Police, Burtibang.
Regmi recently returned home after staying in India for a long time. “Since he returned home, he had been threatening people to kill”, said Anil Kumar Khadka, Deputy Superintendent of Police(DSP) at District Police Office, Baglung
