KALIKOT, Oct 30: One person died when a tractor en route to Thirpu from Palanta Rural Municipality-2, Raduneta in Kalikot.
The deceased is Shiva Chand Neupane, 65, of Palanta Rural Municipality-1, police said. According to the police, Neupane died on the spot. In the same accident, Nanda Rikhi Neupane of the same ward was seriously injured.

Locals said that the accident occurred when the tractor, traveling from Raduneta to Thirpu, went out of control. Injured victim Neupane has been transported to Palanta Hospital Thirpu for medical treatment, while the driver is reported to be safe, as confirmed by the police.
