BHAKTAPUR, Nov 28: A person has died in an accident at Adarsh bus stop of Bhaktapur along the Araniko Highway on Saturday. Ashim Limbu, 24, of Dhankuta Rajarani, now living in Lalitpur Kusunti, has died after a tipper hit his scooter at Suryabinayak, Ward No-8.
The tipper (BA 3 KHA 5423), which was on its way to Suryabinayak from Jagati, hit the scooter (BA 56 PA 3113) which was coming from the opposite direction. Sandip Maharjan, 26, of Patan, Lalitpur, who was riding behind the scooter was critically injured.
Motorcyclist dies in accident
The injured were rushed to Iwamura Hospital, Sallaghari for further treatment and was later referred to B and B hospital.
The tipper driver, Kiran Yogi, 31, of Dang Ghorahi-2, Rampur and currently residing in Machhapokhari, Kathmandu has been arrested and further investigation is currently underway.
