BAGLUNG, April 2: A person died and another sustained severe injuries when a bomb exploded in Badigad Rural Municipality-2 of Baglung district.
The bomb exploded when it was being prepared for fishing at Simalchaur in Badigad Rural Municipality-2, according to the District Police Office (DPO) of Baglung.
Accidental explosion injures three
The deceased has been identified as Mitra Bahadur Rana, 31, of Musikot Municipality-7 of Gulmi districts. He was living in Badigad Rural Municipality-2. He breathed his last while he was being taken to Palpa for further treatment, according to the Information Officer at DPO, Baglung, DSP Ikwal Hawari.
Likewise, another youth who was severely injured in the incident has been identified as Arun Pun, 28, from Hadikhola, Badigad Rural Municipality-2. He is currently undergoing treatment at Lumbini Medical College in Palpa.
