DHANGADHI, April 3: One person was killed and 12 others were injured in a jeep accident in Baitadi.
According to police, Mahadev Bhatt, 55, of Pancheshwar-5 died in an accident on Monday in Tilakpur of Pancheshwar Rural Municipality-5 along the Dehimandaun-Giregada road section.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) at the District Police Office, Baitadi, Prem Bahadur Shahi said that Bhatt died on the spot. According to him, 12 other people traveling in the jeep including the driver were injured.
Among them, Kunti Bhatt of Pancheshwar is seriously injured while the condition of others is out of danger. According to the police, the jeep’s brake failure caused the accident.
