NWPP organizes a march demanding govt to withdraw Citizenship Amendment Bill

KATHMANDU, June 4: The Nepal Workers and Peasants Party (NWPP) organized a march from Koteshwar to New Baneshwar against the ratification of the Citizenship Bill on Sunday.

KATHMANDU, June 4: The Nepal Workers and Peasants Party (NWPP) organized a march from Koteshwar to New Baneshwar against the ratification of the Citizenship Bill on Sunday.

NWPP alleges that the Citizenship Bill was approved to appease foreign countries and that it is not in the interest of the country.


NWPP carried banners with slogans that, among other things, read ‘Down with Nepali Lendups!, ‘Let’s all the patriots of Nepal unite together’ and ‘Repeal the certification of the anti-national citizenship bill’.
