NVC recommends action against 1,240 civil servants

KATHMANDU, Mar 13: The National Vigilance Centre (NVC) has recommended action to be taken against a total of 1,240 civil servants in various 450 government offices across 28 districts for not abiding by the office’s code of conduct.

KATHMANDU, Mar 13: The National Vigilance Centre (NVC) has recommended action to be taken against a total of 1,240 civil servants in various 450 government offices across 28 districts for not abiding by the office’s code of conduct. 



According to the Centre’s spokesperson Bishnu Raj Lamichhane, the Centre had conducted a surprise visit in the government offices where 897 staffs were not found to be punctual and 343 were not wearing uniform.

The Center sent letters to the Chiefs of the respective offices, recommending actions against those violating the code of conduct. 


The Center has also monitored Citizen Charters in 443 offices. Last fiscal year, the Centre had conducted surprise visit in 52 districts and recommended action against 2,377 staffers. RSS
