Nagarik Unmukti Party to send Chairperson Shrestha to the cabinet

KATHMANDU, March 31 : Nagarik Unmukti Party (NUP) has decided to send the party president Ranjita Shrestha Chaudhary to the cabinet.

The party made the decision as per the agreement reached among the ruling parties to allocate one ministry to the NUP.

According to NUP lawmaker Gangaram Chaudhary, NUP has got the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation. NUP Chairperson Ranjita will head the ministry.

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is expanding the cabinet this afternoon. The oath taking ceremony of new ministers has been scheduled at 3 pm.
