KATHMANDU, April 30: The chief minister (CM) of Sudurpaschim Province, Dirga Bahadur Sodari, has appointed Tika Thapa of the Nagarik Unmukti Party (NUP) as the Minister for Land Management, Agriculture, and Cooperatives.

Thapa is set to be sworn in this afternoon.
CM Sodari is scheduled to seek a vote of confidence in the provincial assembly on Wednesday.
