NRB to collect funds equivalent to Rs 10 billion

KATHMANDU, Dec 15: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is collecting deposits equivalent to Rs 10 billion from December 17.

KATHMANDU, Dec 15: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is collecting deposits equivalent to Rs 10 billion from December 17.



The central bank will collect the amount using deposit collection instruments. NRB has stated that it will raise the fund from December 17 till December 24.

The deposit collection would be carried out through a tender process. The interest shall also be determined through bids.
