KATHMANDU, Feb 23: NIC Asia Capital Ltd, a subsidiary of NIC Asia Bank Ltd, has received license from Security Exchange Board of Nepal (Sebon) to operate as a merchant bank.

According to a statement issued on Wednesday, NIC Asia Capital Ltd can now provide issue management, registrar to shares, underwriting and portfolio management services.
“NIC Asia Capital Ltd will soon launch merchant banking services, including depository participant services, on behalf of NIC ASIA Bank,” the statement added.
