KATHMANDU, May 24: Nepal Investment Bank Ltd and International Finance Corporation have signed a loan mandate.

"The mandate has been exchanged between NIBL CEO Jyoti Prakash Pandey and Resident Representative, Country Head of IFC, Mohammad Rahan Rashid," a statement issued by the bank reads. The bank further said it was hopeful that the access to international funding will help bring stimulus to the current liquidity situation.


“IFC's funding has played an important role in the banking sector that has helped the banks effectively increase their participation with more enterprises,” the bank said in the statement.
