The NHRC has requested all the political parties not to let such incidents take place again. The NHRC has also reminded the political parties about the Gaur incident that happened a decade ago when the then CPN (Maoist) cadres and cadres of the than Madhesi People's Right Forum clashed resulting the death of at least 22 people.

Likewise, the NHRC has requested the government to investigate all manhandling and attacks and to prevent clashes and to maintain the social harmony.
