Nepathya releases music video of ‘Rato Ra Chandra Surya’

One of the leading folk-rock bands of the country ‘Nepathya’ has launched a music video of national song ‘Rato Ra Chandra Surya’ via their official YouTube channel on Tuesday.

One of the leading folk-rock bands of the country ‘Nepathya’ has launched a music video of national song ‘Rato Ra Chandra Surya’ via their official YouTube channel on Tuesday.



The song was penned by famous poet Gopal Prasad Rimal, which latter was, composed into song by late singer and composer Amber Gurung. The song was then recorded on radio Nepal under the voice of Amber and Fateman Raj Bhandari.

Lead singer of the band, Amrit Gurung said, “We have given new arrangement to the song and have been performing it in almost all concerts since 2002.” The band has also included the song in their album ‘Mero Desh’, as they received official permission from Amber to sing it.


Music video of the song is a compilation of the clippings from the band’s live concerts at various places.
