Nepali woman wins mountain bike race in Sri Lanka

KATHMANDU, June 23: A Nepali woman has won the 'Sri Lanka Holidays Rumble In The Jungle 2017' – a premier mountain bike race.

KATHMANDU, June 23: A Nepali woman has won the 'Sri Lanka Holidays Rumble In The Jungle 2017' – a premier mountain bike race. 



Nepal's Laxmi Magar won the four-day mountain bike race organized by the Sri Lankan Airlines, according to the National Sports Council.

She clocked 20 hours 20 minutes and 18 seconds to clinch the race title. Australia's Tania Theron and French national Claire came second and third.


Tania finished the race in 21 hours, 8 minutes and three seconds while Claire completed her race in 21 hours, 39 minutes and 11 seconds. RSS
