KATHMANDU, Dec 1: A Nepali professor in Britain has extended his support to Dr Govinda KC who is on a hunger strike for the last 19 days.
In a statement issued on Thursday, Professor of International Law at the University of Leeds, Prof Dr Surya P. Subedi, expressed his solidarity and support to the campaign Dr KC.

According to him, the campaign was designed to depoliticize the management and administration of Nepal's academic sector and promote academic freedom.
He has further called the government to fulfill and implement the demands of Dr KC with sincerity.
