Nepali Congress to contribute Rs 5 million to govt's COVID-19 fund

KATHMANDU, March 24: The main opposition party, Nepali Congress has decided to contribute Rs 5 million to a fund established by the government to prevent and contain the deadly coronavirus.

KATHMANDU, March 24: The main opposition party, Nepali Congress has decided to contribute Rs 5 million to a fund established by the government to prevent and contain the deadly coronavirus.  



Issuing a press release, the party said that it has decided to donate15 days' salaries of Nepali Congress parliamentarians.

The party urged one and all to follow the instruction of government and stand together to fight this viral outbreak. 


Besides, NC drew the attention of the government to address the problem of poorer and working class as the country is facing the lockdown.
