KATHMANDU, May 25: Finance Minister Barsha Man Pun has announced that Nepal will celebrate the decade from 2024 to 2034 as the Decade of Agriculture to increase investment in agriculture.
Presenting the budget for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2024/25 in the joint session of the Federal Parliament on Tuesday, Finance Minister Pun said that the Agriculture Decade will be announced to increase investment in agriculture through government cooperatives and private partnerships.

Finance Minister Pun also said that pocket areas of agriculture will be identified and production will be increased.
