ACHHAM, March 26: Nepal Police engaged in an exchange of fire with the cadres of the Chand-led Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) in Achham District on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the local source, the police fired at first and later on the cadres fired in defense.

The incident took place while police were searching for the cadres of the Biplab-led group in Batulasen of Ram Roshan rural municipality. According to the report, police have arrested four cadres.
According to the police, Suresh Rawat, Suresh Saud, Bhumi Sara Dhami and Rajendra Dhami have been arrested.
