According to a press statement issued by the Nepal-America Film Society, the festival will feature Nepali feature films, documentaries, and animated movies along with other genres. Besides Nepali films, some american, South Asian and other movies will also be featured.

A committee of international filmmakers will select the best film from among those who have applied to be featured in the festival. Best movies featured in the festival will also be awarded, according to the statement.

The Nepal-America Film Society, a non-profit organization, has been organizing the festival annually since 2017. The society was forced to cancel the festival this year owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.
