KATHMANDU, Feb 17: Nepal Agritech International Expo 2018 has kicked off at Bhrikuti Mandap Exhibition Hall in Kathmandu on Thursday. This is the second edition of the four-day long fair organized by Media Space Solutions Pvt Ltd in association with Futurex Trade Fair and Events of India. Issuing a statement, the organizers said that the expo is Nepal's largest exhibition on agriculture, farm machinery, dairy, poultry and livestock, floriculture, and farm equipment. The co-organizer of this exhibition is the Prime Minister Agriculture Modernization Project. The highlights of the exhibition are different types of agricultural machineries, tractors, new and innovative technology in agriculture, poultry and livestock related companies, dairy related technology and machineries, seeds and fertilizer companies, and everyday tools required by farmers, added the statement. Another attraction of the exhibition is the Agri Mart, where local produces are showcased under one roof.
