Ncell to provide Rs 5 million to Karnali govt

KATHMANDU, Nov 5: Ncell Axiata Limited has announced immediate financial support of Rs 5 million for the rescue, treatment, and relief of earthquake victims.

KATHMANDU, Nov 5: Ncell Axiata Limited has announced immediate financial support of Rs 5 million for the rescue, treatment, and relief of earthquake victims.



The company announced on Saturday that it will provide funds to the Karnali provincial government for immediate assistance in the rescue, treatment, and relief of the earthquake victims.

Ncell has also announced that it will provide free services worth Rs 40 million balance to customers in the affected districts of Jajarkot, Rukum (West), and Rukum (East).


According to Ncell, the services available in this way include services that can call other networks in the country and abroad, data, and SMS.  The validity of such resources is 15 days. 


Expressing sorrow for those who lost their lives in the devastating earthquake and wishing for the speedy recovery of the injured, Ncell said in the statement that it stands with the people of the earthquake-affected districts in this time of crisis.
