Ncell tops royalty payments in the last FY

KATHMANDU, Feb 23: Ncell emerged as the leading contributor to both royalty and the Rural Telecommunications Development Fund (RTDF) in the last fiscal year.

KATHMANDU, Feb 23: Ncell emerged as the leading contributor to both royalty and the Rural Telecommunications Development Fund (RTDF) in the last fiscal year.

The Nepal Telecommunication Authority (NTA) reported that Ncell's contributions surpassed Rs 2 billion for both categories during the fiscal year. In the fiscal year 2022/23, the company disbursed Rs 1.47 billion as royalty and contributed Rs 737.5 million to the government for the RTDF.
