NC Prez Deuba directs party leaders, cadres to engage in relief and rescue

KATHMANDU, June 16: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has directed the party leaders and cadres to get engaged in the relief and rescue works in the flood-ravaged areas.

KATHMANDU, June 16: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has directed the party leaders and cadres to get engaged in the relief and rescue works in the flood-ravaged areas. 



He took to social media to direct the party rank and file to get involved in relief and rescue efforts during the troubled times of natural disaster in the country, mostly in Sindhupalchowk and Manang.

Former Prime Minister Deuba has also demanded the government step up immediate rescue efforts and announce relief packages to the disaster-surviving families. 


The incessant rain-triggered flood and landslide have caused loss of lives and property in Melamchi Bazaar of Sindhupalchowk and other areas.
