Deuba expressed displeasure for not allowing him to address the parliament session on Tuesday. "Prime Minister should be allowed to speak only after the leader of the opposition," he said adding that the head of the government should give answers to questions raised by the opposition party leader.

He also claimed that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's recent visit to Europe was unsuccessful.

In another context, Deuba said that the proposed media law is against democracy. "We will prevent from the passing the Media Council Bill through the parliament," he said.
