KATHMANDU, May 14: Nepali Congress (NC) Mayoral candidate for Lalitpur Metropolitan City Chiri Babu Maharjan is leading in the ongoing vote counting.
Maharjan has received 57 votes while his nearest rival Hari Krishna Byanjankar of CPN-UML has received 30 votes.

Similarly, Asta Bahadur Maharjan of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) and Ujjwal Krishna Shrestha of Bibeksheel Sajha Party are also in the mayoral race of the Lalitpur Metropolitan City.
There are a total of 122,890 registered voters in Lalitpur metropolis.
