NC lawmakers to donate 5-day’s salary to flood victims

KATHMANDU, July 15: Lawmakers representing the main opposition Nepali Congress have decided to provide their five day’s salary to the flood and landslide victims.

KATHMANDU, July 15: Lawmakers representing the main opposition Nepali Congress have decided to provide their five day’s salary to the flood and landslide victims. Issuing a press statement on Monday by Chief Whip Bal Krishna Khand, the parliamentary party meeting decided to contribute the amount to the victim of the natural disaster.

The party has also urged one and all to join hands in the rescue and relief operation in the aftermath of a natural disaster that has affected various parts of the country. Likewise, the party has strongly condemned the deferring house meeting till July 24. The party has also expressed profound sorrow over the loss of lives and property caused by the natural disaster.
