KATHMANDU, March 16: Former lawmaker from Nepali Congress Ramhari Dhungel passed away at his rented residence at Dillibazaar in the capital today.
According to NC central member Pradip Poudel, leader Dhungel, 58, was found dead in bed at his own room this morning.
He further shared that Dhungel's cousin had forcibly opened the door of the room in which Dhungel had slept as his room remained locked from inside till late morning.
Former lawmaker Dhungel was also Assistant Minister for Agriculture. He was elected as the Member of Parliament from Ramechhap Constituency No-2 in 2056 BS.
He was unmarried. Preparations are being made to take the body to Teaching Hospital for a post mortem, NC sources said. RSS
