BAGLUNG, Dec 12: Nepali Congress that lost all seats towards first-past-the-post elections in Baglung has become the first party in the proportional representations (PR) elections in the district.

NC bagged the highest votes towards the election of House of Representatives and Provincial Assemblies as compared to other parties in the district. It received 35,668 votes followed by the CPN (UML) that got 30,635 votes towards the House of Representatives election.
Similarly, the Rastriya Janamorcha secured third position with 15,934 votes. CPN (Maoist Centre) obtained 14,450 votes while Rastriya Prajatantra Party and Bibekshil Sajha Party garnered 1,212 votes and 1,196 votes respectively.
